Municipal Electrical Aggregation Questions, 21 (March 2012)
Twenty-one Municipal Electrical Aggregation Questions were on the March 20, 2012 ballot in the designated areas which are in Lake County.
Eighteen measures were approved[1]
These measures sought to allow the municipal officials to aggregate electricity in the specified area. The municipalities included in this measure Kildeer, Long Grove, Gurnee, Mundelein, Buffalo Grove, Lake Zurich, Vernon Hills, Lindenhurst, Round Lake Beach, Lincolnshire, Barrington Hills, Libertyville, Antioch, Barrington, Riverwoods, Round Lake Park, Deer Park, Lake Villa, Wheeling, Island Lake, and Bannockburn. Officials seek to bargain for lower rates for residents, but they could opt out of the aggregation if they wanted.[2]
