The New York Constitutional Amendment, Amendment 1, also known as Proposed Amendment No. 1, was on the ballot in New York on November 7, 1882, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. This measure was related to an amendment to section 3 of article 7 of the constitution.[1]
