The New York Creation of Assembly and Senate Districts, Amendment 4, also known as Proposed Amendment No. 4, was on the ballot in New York on November 6, 1945, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. This amendment provided that "towns with certain population ratios may be divided in creation of senate and assembly districts."[1]
