The New York Home Rule Powers of Counties, Amendment 1, also known as Proposed Amendment No. 1, was on the ballot in New York on November 4, 1958, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. This measure granted "additional powers of home rule to counties."[1]
