Tsalis ran for election to the 25th District Court.
Primary: He was successful in the primary on August 5, 2014, receiving 35.7 percent of the vote. He competed against Todd Barron and Greg Clifton.
General: He was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 41.8 percent of the vote. He competed against Greg Clifton.

Tsalis received his J.D. degree from the Michigan State University College of Law.[3]
Career
Tsalis is an attorney in private practice and a former Wayne County assistant prosecutor.[3]
