Paul Nelson (Minnesota)
Paul Nelson was a Minnesota Eighth Judicial District judge for Chippewa County, Minnesota. He was appointed to this position in 1997 and was elected to full terms in 1998, 2004 and 2010. He retired in mid-2012.[1]
Education
Nelson received his B.A. degree from Wartburg College in 1969 and his J.D. degree from the University of Minnesota Law School in 1975.[1]
Career
Prior to joining the court, Nelson worked from 1975 to 1997 as a lawyer with the firm of Kraft, Walser, Nelson, Hettig and Honsey.[1]
2010 election
Nelson was re-elected after running unopposed.[2]
