Reed Sheppard
Reed Sheppard was a district court judge in the Second Judicial District of New Mexico.[1] He was appointed to the court by Governor Bill Richardson in July 2008 and won the partisan election in November of the same year.[2][3] Sheppard retired in 2014.[4]
Education
Sheppard received his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University and his J.D. from the University of New Mexico.[5]
Career
Immediately prior to his appointment to the bench, Sheppard was a domestic violence hearing officer from 2002 until 2008. He also served on the metro court from 2000 until 2002.[2]
