Rex Alan Dale is a judge for the Loudon County General Sessions Court in Tennessee. He also has jurisdiction in the Loudon County Juvenile Court. He was elected on August 5, 2010, to replace former Judge William H. Russell.[1][2][3][4] He was re-elected in 2014 for a term that expires on August 31, 2022.[5]

Education

Dale received a B.A. degree in Christian education from Belhaven University in 1981 and a J.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Law Knoxville in 1988.[6]

Career

Dale worked as a judicial law clerk for former Judge Thomas Hull from 1988 to 1989. He then became a trial attorney. In 1994, he started his own law firm in Lenoir City. That same year, he began serving as a substitute judge for the Loudon County General Sessions Court and the Lenoir City Court. He served in that capacity until his election to the general sessions court in 2010. He also worked as a private practice lawyer in downtown Loudon and, from 1996 to 2010, served as the Greenback city cttorney.[6][7]
