Rick Vandeven
Rick Vandeven (Libertarian Party) ran for election to the Missouri House of Representatives to represent District 151. Vandeven lost in the general election on November 6, 2018.
Vandeven was a 2017 Libertarian special election candidate for the same seat.
Vandeven was a 2014 Libertarian candidate seeking election to the U.S. House to represent the 8th Congressional District of Missouri.[1] He ran unopposed in the Libertarian primary.[2] He was defeated by incumbent Jason Smith (R) in the general election on November 4, 2014. He sought the same seat in 2012 but lost to incumbent Jo Ann Emerson in the general election.

2017
A special election for the position of Missouri House of Representatives District 151 was called for November 7, 2017. The filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was September 19, 2017.[3]
The seat became vacant on June 2, 2017, after Tila Hubrecht (R) resigned to return to her previous job as a nurse.[4]
Herman Morse (R) defeated Curtis Clark (D) and Rick Vandeven (Libertarian) in the special election.[5]
