Robert Summerlin
Robert Summerlin was a 2014 candidate for the 263rd District Court in Texas.[1] He was previously a judicial candidate for the 174th District Court in 2012.

Summerlin ran for election to the 263rd District Court.
Primary: He was successful in the Republican primary on March 4, 2014, receiving 42.3 percent of the vote. He competed against Jim Wallace.

2012
Summerlin ran for election to the 174th District Court and was defeated by incumbent Ruben Guerrero.[4] Summerlin had defeated fellow Republican Joe Vinas in the primary.[5]

Education
Summerlin received his undergraduate degree from Rice University, and earned his J.D. from South Texas College of Law.[6]
Career
Summerlin worked as a Harris County Assistant District Attorney from 1999 to 2003. He works in private practice, specializing in criminal defense.[6]
