Russell Roden
Russell Roden was a 2014 candidate for the Dallas County Court at Law No. 1 in Texas.[1] Roden was a judge on this court from 2002 to 2006, and was the Republican candidate for the court in 2010.[2][3]

Roden ran for election to the Dallas County Court at Law.
Primary: He ran unopposed in the Republican primary on March 4, 2014.
General: He was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 47.7 percent of the vote. He competed against D'Metria Benson.

Roden was defeated by incumbent Democrat D'Metria Benson in the November 2 general election.[5]
Education
Roden double majored in business management and history at Austin College, and received a J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law in 1988.[3]
Career
Roden has been senior counsel at the firm Munck Wilson Mandala, LLP. He was the judge on the Dallas County Court at Law No. 1 from 2002 to 2006. Prior to his judgeship, Roden worked in private practice.[3]
