The general election on May 9, 2015, in the Irving Independent School District featured two seats up for election. District 4 incumbent Valerie Jones did not file for re-election, and two challengers — Dinesh Mali and Sanko Prioleau II — sought her seat. Mali triumphed over Prioleau in that race.
