July 24, 2019: Eighty percent (80%) of potential Democratic primary voters would be satisfied or excited with former Vice President Joe Biden as their party’s 2020 presidential nominee. A ScottRasmussen.com national survey found that nearly as many say the same about Senators Bernie Sanders (75%), Elizabeth Warren (74%), and Kamala Harris (73%).[1]

Biden, Warren, Harris, and Sanders have been the clear leaders in the race for several months. This data suggests that while Democratic voters have their personal preferences, they are generally satisfied with all of the leading options. Head-to-head match-ups among the top four Democrats are all toss-ups.[2]

Seventy-eight percent (78%) of women would be satisfied or excited with Biden as the nominee. Seventy-six percent (76%) of women are that comfortable with Warren, 74% with Harris, and 72% with Sanders.
