Scott Rasmussen's Number of the Day for June 7, 2023
The Number of the Day columns published on Ballotpedia reflect the views of the author.
June 7, 2023: Sixty-two percent (62%) of voters believe the worst of the pandemic is behind us. A Scott Rasmussen national survey found that just 20% say the worst is still to come. Those are the most optimistic numbers recorded since the pandemic began.
The survey also found that 36% of voters say that their lives have returned to the way they were before the pandemic, and another 30% say they are on their way back to normal. Twenty-nine percent say their lives will never return to the way they were before.
Methodology
The survey of 1,000 Registered Voters was conducted online by Scott Rasmussen on May 24-25, 2023. Field work for the survey was conducted by RMG Research, Inc. Certain quotas were applied, and the -sample was lightly weighted by geography, gender, age, race, education, internet usage, and political party to reasonably reflect the nation’s population of registered voters. Other variables were reviewed to ensure that the final sample is representative of that population.
The margin of sampling error for the full sample is +/- 3.1 percentage points.
