March 16, 2026: Twenty-three percent (23%) of voters know what the SAVE Act is. A Napolitan News Service national survey conducted by RMG Research found only 40% of voters claimed to know what the SAVE Act is and, in response to an open-ended question, just 58% of those (23% of all voters) were able to correctly define it.

The survey also found 24% would favor passage of the SAVE Act. Fourteen percent (14%) would be opposed to its passage, and 60% were not asked, as they had previously claimed to not know what the SAVE Act is.

Methodology

The survey of 1,000 registered voters was conducted online by Scott Rasmussen on March 9-10, 2026. Fieldwork for the survey was conducted by RMG Research, Inc. Certain quotas were applied, and the sample was lightly weighted by geography, gender, age, race, education, internet usage, and political party to reasonably reflect the nation’s population of registered voters. Other variables were reviewed to ensure that the final sample is representative of that population. The margin of sampling error for the full sample is +/- 3.1 percentage points.

Scott Rasmussen is the president of RMG Research, Inc. and founder of the Napolitan Institute.
