November 28, 2023: Thirty-seven (37) state legislative sessions are scheduled to begin in January of 2024. An additional six will begin in February, one will begin in March, and two will begin in April. The remaining four states (Montana, Nevada, North Dakota, and Texas) only meet in odd numbered years unless a special session is called.
