I am a husband and father of a beautiful family. I grew up in Pensacola and currently drive dump truck for a local construction company.
- Less Talk…More Action.
- Dedication to the children of Escambia County to ensure they receive a quality education
- Fiscal Accountability and responsibility
The quality of education children receive.
I look up to people like Ronald Regan, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Gov. Ron DeSantis. These are men who never backed down in the face of adversity. They persevered. That is inspiring to me.
The Constitution should always be first and foremost with any elected official. A strong moral fiber and the ability to stand on one’s principles.
Someone who listens and is attentive to those I would represent.
Someone who values principles
Duty to the citizens, parents and educators to represent their concerns and ideas.
Only that legacy which is driven by those I would represent
The Space Shuttle Challenger Accident 1986. I was 12 years old
Warrington Nursery. Approximately 1 year
One Second After by William R. Forstchen. It provides a realistic possibility of what could happen should society be pushed to the brink of collapse.
The Mandolorian. He is grounded, principled and steadfast in his commitment and a man of his word.
Last Night by Morgan Wallen. My 5yo loves that song
To represent the concerns and values of those who elected you, in accordance with the Constitution of the United States and all applicable laws of the State of Florida and Escambia County.
The citizens and educators of District 5.
By first applying the core belief that all are created equal. By supporting and advocating for a system of education that supports, inspires and elevates students. By recognizing that not all students learn the same way, so why not teach the way they learn best.
My first responsibility is to the citizens and parents of my district. My second priority is to the educators who work tirelessly for the best interests of the students in my district. My third responsibility is to rest of Escambia County in the hope that compromise can be found to benefit all students.
This is an area that I have no expertise. I am not an educator. However I do not believe that state standardized testing should be used to gauge teacher or school performance.
Those remain to be seen, and will be further evaluated should the people of district 5 elect me to that position.
I believe considering all grant programs should be done instead of looking to adjust mileage rates on Escambia County property owners. I also believe the district should consider the possibility of using the surtax method instead of increasing property taxes.
We must both recognize and understand that no matter what laws are passed, you can never legislate people’s moral compass. If evil people are determined enough to do harm to others, they will find a way and a tool to exact that harm. We must provide a line of defense against that when it comes to our children by enabling teachers and staff to concealed carry on campus at all times.
By recognizing that it is a real issue and that those students who need that support get the help they need.
Stop leaving students behind. Struggling students need assistance and tutoring as much if not more than exceptional students. Give struggling students a fighting chance.
An environment free of any indoctrination. The job of the district is to educate…not indoctrinate. So let’s make sure that proper guardrails are in place to protect the children. Then address their educational needs as students and not just push a one size fits all approach. This has never worked in the past and will continue to not work in the future. Let’s teach students how they learn.
This district could have handled CV19 much differently and better. The science has shown for a while now that masks are ineffective, and keeping students out of school drove teen suicides up tremendously.
By talking with them, meeting with them, and exchanging concerns and ideas with them. Then go before the board and act on those concerns and ideas.
The district has some quality staff and we need to retain that quality. Stop looking to promote from outside the district and start promoting from within. Incentivize good people to stay.
