Sherry Stalley was a 2012 Republican candidate for District 71 of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.

Stalley ran in the 2012 election for Pennsylvania House District 71. Stalley ran unchallenged in the Republican primary on April 24 and was defeated by incumbent Bryan Barbin (D) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[1]
Threatening letter
In September, authorities were called on to investigate a threatening letter that was left at Stalley's home.[2] Among other things, the letter said, "We will find a way to destroy you before the election. Drop out now." and "A woman’s place is at home and not trying to be in politics."[3]
