Stephen P. Easley (d. August 14, 2013) was a Democratic member of the New Mexico House of Representatives, representing District 50 from January 15, 2013, to his death on August 14, 2013. He passed away from complications related to an infection.[1]

Biography

Easley earned a B.A. in Spanish from Purdue University, West Lafayette, Louisiana, an M.A. in Biological Anthropology from the University of Washington, St. Louis, Missouri, and a Ph.D in Biological Anthropology from the University of Washington, St. Louis, Missouri. His professional experience includes owning an information technology company.[2]

Easley ran in the 2012 election for New Mexico House of Representatives District 50. He defeated Patricia A. Lincoln in the Democratic primary on June 5, 2012. He defeated Republican Charles Larry Miller in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[3][4]
