Campaign themes

2014

Zachary's campaign website highlighted the following issues:[1]

  • Excerpt: "My plan for a better Arizona begins with changing the commitment to lifelong learning. The current philosophy of devaluing and underfunding education has a disastrous economic impact. Businesses locate in places that have a strong commitment to education. Business leaders need to be able to readily tap a skilled workforce. Also, business leaders locate where their children will have a competitive advantage that exceptional education can provide. The Arizona legislature has ignored these simple truths. I want to change that direction."
