General election

The general election was canceled. Patti Hussey (Nonpartisan), Patty Kennedy (Nonpartisan), and Sue Maland (Nonpartisan) won without appearing on the ballot.

2014

Two seats on the Glendale Union High School District Governing Board were scheduled for general election on November 4, 2014. Incumbents Patty Kennedy and Rick Fields filed to run for re-election along with Sue Maland. However, Fields later withdrew from the race, leaving Kennedy and Maland unopposed.[1] The Maricopa County Education Service Agency recommended that the election be canceled and that Maland and Kennedy be appointed to their seats by the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors.[2]

Results

The election was canceled due to a lack of contested races. Sue Maland and incumbent Patty Kennedy were respectively appointed to their first and second terms by the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors on September 10, 2014.[3]

Funding

Maland reported no contributions or expenditures to the Maricopa County Recorder's office.[4]

Endorsements

Maland received no official endorsements in the election.
