Swiss Vacation Holiday Extension Referendum, 2012
The Swiss Vacation Holiday Extension Referendum was on the ballot on March 11, 2012, in the country of Switzerland.
The measure was defeated by a vote of 66.5% against to 33.5% in favor.[1]
The measure would have increased paid vacation time for employees from four weeks to six weeks. The measure was sponsored by swiss trade union Travail.Suisse. The Swiss Employers' Association opposed the measure.[1]
