A Tahoe Truckee Unified School District bond proposition, Measure U ballot question was on the November 4, 2008 ballot for voters in the Tahoe Truckee Unified School District in parts of Nevada County and Placer County, where it was defeated.
If Measure U had been approved, it would have authorized the Tahoe Truckee Unified School District to borrow $93.53 million.
Measure U was placed on the ballot by the board of the Tahoe Truckee Unified School District after the loss in June 2008 of Measure L, which was essentially identical.
A 55 percent supermajority vote was required for approval.

Comparison
