I am a 28yr old mother in Elkhart County, and I am often the Bee in my own bonnet; I have a great need to care and know more about our community members and their needs.
  • Every human of our community should be able to see their voice and needs and concerns represented by those elected into positions to meet their needs.
  • Low income, disabled, and other minority members of our community should not be falling through the cracks of care as much as they are.
  • Positions like Trustee and Board members should be known as the listening ear that is always ready with compassion and understanding for concerns, large and small.
Homelessness must not be criminalized.

Human dignity must be maintained for immigrants.

Women should have safe options for leaving abusive homes, and abusers should be treated as such without demonizing the victims instead.
