This measure sought to create a bond in the amount of $133 million in order to be used for upgrading the safety needs of the schools, making renovations to facilities as needed and renovate and repair buildings in the district as well.[2] Highland Park and Deerfield high schools would have been the main schools which would have benefited from this bond measure.[3]
