I'm Tyler Moses, a parent, small business owner, and active Conway resident who believes strong public schools are the foundation of a thriving community. My 4th-grade son attends Conway Public Schools, and as a PTO member, I understand the importance of parent involvement, supporting teachers, and ensuring smart use of school resources.
I serve as the Secretary for the Conway Tree Board, working to improve our community’s environment and planning. My partner and I own a home in Downtown Conway, where our Halloween and Christmas displays have become a fun tradition for the neighborhood!
Education has played a key role in my life. I graduated from the Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences, and the Arts, then earned a Bachelor’s in Financial Risk Management from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. My background gives me the experience to ensure fiscal responsibility and transparency in school funding.
I’m running for the Conway School Board (At-Large, Position 1) because students, parents, and educators deserve leaders who listen. I’ll work to keep our schools focused on learning, free from distractions, and equipped to prepare students for success. - Fiscal Responsibility & Smart Budgeting – With a background in financial risk management, I’ll prioritize accountability and transparency, ensuring tax dollars go where they matter most—the classroom.
- Building a Stronger Community – Schools thrive when families, educators, and local leaders work together. I’ll foster collaboration and open communication to keep Conway’s schools and community strong.
- Support for Students, Parents, and Teachers – As a parent and PTO member, I’ll work to ensure students have the resources to succeed, parents have a voice, and teachers get the support they deserve.
I'm passionate about ensuring our school board listens to the community before making decisions—not the other way around. Leadership should be proactive, transparent, and accountable. Parents, teachers, and students deserve a school board that prioritizes open communication and real engagement.
I believe in fiscal responsibility, ensuring tax dollars are spent wisely to benefit students and classrooms. I also believe strong schools are built through community collaboration—when families, educators, and local leaders work together, everyone benefits.
Most importantly, I believe every parent’s voice matters, and I’ll work to make sure they’re heard. I look up to my mom more than anyone. She showed me what it means to work hard, stay resilient, and always put others first. Growing up, she balanced everything—family, work, and making sure we had what we needed—without ever complaining. She taught me that real leadership isn’t about power, it’s about responsibility. Her example shaped the way I approach challenges: listen first, step up when needed, and always look out for the people around you.
I wouldn’t point to just one book or movie—my views are shaped by real conversations with parents, teachers, and students. However, if I had to choose, I'd say Matilda—it highlights the importance of great teachers, the power of education, and why leadership should always put students first.
Integrity, transparency, and a commitment to listening. Elected officials should serve the community, not personal agendas.
I listen first, then lead. I believe good leadership isn’t about being the loudest in the room—it’s about making sure everyone in the room is heard.
Ensuring students, parents, and teachers are heard, making fiscally responsible decisions, and keeping schools focused on learning.
I want to leave a legacy of service, honesty, and positive change—to be someone who genuinely helped make things better for families, students, and educators in Conway.

I vividly remember 9/11. I was in 3rd grade, and while I didn’t fully grasp the magnitude of what was happening, I could tell my teacher, Mrs. Strother, was shaken.

My first job was at KFC, where I worked all through high school. It was hot, it was greasy, and it was an experience. I learned how to stay cool under pressure, deal with every kind of customer imaginable, and never underestimate the power of a good biscuit. It also taught me that hard work matters, no job is too small, and free chicken tastes better after a long shift.
One of my favorite books is We by Yevgeny Zamyatin. It’s a fascinating look at individuality, free thought, and the dangers of unchecked control. It was one of the first dystopian novels. What I love about it is how it challenges you to think critically about society, authority, and personal freedom—things that are still incredibly relevant today.
I’ve had to work hard to build stability—from navigating student debt to starting my own business. It’s made me appreciate the importance of smart financial decisions and strong community support.
To set policy, oversee budgets, and support students and educators—all while prioritizing the needs of the community.
Every student, parent, teacher, and taxpayer in Conway.
By listening first, ensuring schools have the resources they need, and advocating for policies that help all students succeed.
I’ll meet with parents, PTOs, educators, local businesses, and civic organizations to ensure schools reflect community priorities.
Engaged students, strong outcomes, and a passion for learning. I’ll support professional development and proven teaching strategies.
We need to expand career readiness programs, including technical training, apprenticeships, and financial literacy. Not every student is college-bound, so we must prepare them for real-world success.
I’ll advocate for smart budgeting, grant opportunities, and partnerships to ensure funds go directly to classrooms—not bureaucracy. Transparency is key.
Every child deserves to feel safe and focused on learning. This means strong school security, bullying prevention, and clear emergency protocols, all while maintaining a welcoming environment
By expanding access to school counselors, reducing unnecessary stressors, and ensuring teachers have the support they need—because a strong support system helps everyone succeed.
I’d prioritize improving communication between the board and the community, ensuring fiscal transparency, and making sure parents and teachers have a real voice in decision-making.
Safe, well-funded classrooms where teachers can teach and students can thrive—without distractions.
The pandemic was challenging for everyone. Moving forward, we need clearer communication, better contingency planning, and more support for students and teachers during disruptions.
Regular town halls, open forums, and direct *proactive* communication so parents always have a voice.
Competitive pay, professional development, and a positive school environment to attract and retain the best educators.
Tax dollars should go where they directly benefit students. Transparency builds trust, and I’ll work to ensure budgets are clear and accessible.
