There was a Village of Winnetka Streetscape Proposal Advisory Question on the February 2 ballot in Cook County for voters in the village of Winnetka.
This measure was approved
- YES 3,380 (67.93%)
- NO 1,596 (32.07%)[1]
This measure sought to ask voters if they want to halt the Streetscape plan which was implemented to improve the look of the streets in the shopping district. The cost of the first part of the plan was estimated at $5.5 million.[2]
