The Virginia and West Virginia Boundary Compact of 1959 is an interstate compact between Virginia and West Virginia. It reaffirmed the geographic location of the boundary between the two states, and superseded the Virginia and West Virginia Boundary Agreement of 1863. The 1959 compact was then superseded by the next compact in 1998.[1]
