Wesley Machida
Wesley Machida is the former nonpartisan Director of Finance, also known as the Treasurer, in Hawaii.[1] He was first appointed to the position by Gov. David Ige on December 3, 2014.[2] Machida retired effective December 31, 2017, citing personal reasons.[3]
Biography
Machida served as the executive director of the state's employees' retirement system prior to his appointment to the finance director's office. He also has experience in the private sector as a certified public accountant including a stint as senior audit manager for Grant Thornton LLP.[2]
