  • This campaign is about us — our kids, our schools, and our future. Fighting Forward for policies that work for our schools, teachers and our community.
  • Improve workforce readiness programs; Raise school performance and accountability
  • Strengthen school safety by expanding behavioral & mental health support to upgrading building schools
As a former school counselor and mental health professional, there are a few public policies I am passionate about: Healthcare access to mental health and student well-being; Education policy from funding for our teachers and school counselors
I've spent my career in our schools, seeing firsthand what students and families need. Integrity, heart, fairness, trust
Core responsibilities are: Putting students and families first; supporting strong leadership; fighting and setting policies that work; budgets and accountability.
I always imagine leaving something that is bigger than myself. I want to leave something that everyone can benefit from regardless of your race, color, economic status.
I was 16 years when I had my very first job and it was Boston Market. I left when I graduated high school.
Man's Search for Meaning by Viktor E. Frankl and the Bible. Both books teach how strong we are as human beings.
In my view, the primary duty is to ensure every student has access to a world-class quality, safe and supportive education.
My constituents are definitely my students, families, teachers, school counselors and staff. Stakeholders and our community that rely on our public schools to provide a safe and world-class quality education. I must consider their needs, voices and best interests at heart.
For over 10 years, I served as a school counselor and mental health therapist right
here in our district. Supporting the diverse needs means more resources for our students, inclusive teaching, behavioral and mental health supports. For staff, rigorous professional development, growth, fair support and being listened to. Open communication, dialogue, language access for our community.
I learned as a former school counselor and mental health professional and now a Community Activist. Strong relationship begins by being present at community events, cultural gathering, neighborhood meetings even in those Facebook community groups. Working side by side with organizations that support our students, families and teachers.
As a former school counselor, I know the importance of building strong relationship with parents. I listen to them with heart and care, follow up with them, and work with them as true partner. I have parents who looked for my information just to invite to their child's graduation. Parents know people who genuinely care and I am that person.
I founded an ABA Company that is growing. We offer ABA services to children with autism and other related-disabilities.
