Bill Benton is the Division 3 judge of the Eleventh Circuit West of Arkansas. Benton was re-elected to another term in the election on May 20, 2014, and his term expires in 2020. He was first elected to the position in November 2002 and re-elected in May 2008.[1][2][3]

Education

Benton earned a bachelor of science degree at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. He earned his J.D. at the University of Arkansas School of Law.[2]

Career

Before his tenure as a circuit judge, Benton was a deputy prosecutor for Jefferson County for 20 years. He was also a judge for White Hall City Court for seven years. Benton has practiced law in Pine Bluff since 1984.[2]
