William M. Doherty

William M. Doherty is a judge of the 5th Circuit Court, the 56B District Court and the Barry County Probate Court in Barry County, Michigan.[1] He was appointed chief judge on May 1, 2011.[2]
Education
Doherty received his undergraduate degree from Michigan State University in 1985 and his J.D. from Wayne State University Law School in 1988.[3]
Career
Prior to joining the court, Doherty worked as a law clerk for Judge Richard Shuster. Next, he worked as a partner with the firm Dimmers, McPhillips and Doherty.[4][3]
