A Zeeland School District Recreation Tax Levy Renewal proposal was approved on the May 7, 2013, election ballot in Allegan and Ottawa Counties, which are in Michigan.

| “ | Shall the limitation on the amount of taxes which may be assessed against all property in Zeeland Public Schools, Ottawa and Allegan Counties, Michigan, be increased by and the board of education be authorized to levy not to exceed .4 mill ($.40 on each $1,000.00 of taxable valuation) for a period of 10 years, 2013 to 2022, inclusive, for the purpose of providing funds for operating a system of public recreation; the estimate of the revenue the school district will collect for such recreation program if the millage is approved and levied in 2013 is approximately $520,484 (this is a renewal of millage which expired with the 2012 tax levy)?[1][2] | ” |
