Gary Martinez was a 2012 Republican candidate for District 40 of the New Mexico House of Representatives.
Elections

Martinez ran in the 2012 election for New Mexico House of Representatives District 40. He ran unopposed in the Republican primary on June 5, 2012. Martinez was defeated by incumbent Nick L. Salazar (D) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[1][2]

Martinez has stated: "Repair water conservation infrastructures; Continue to focus on education improvement in New Mexico, utilizing prior experience in education; build better opportunity for jobs in New Mexico; Improve agriculture and ranching opportunities in the state; Continue to support and take care of senior citizens in our communities who have served and given so much to New Mexico."[3]
