She won re-election in the general election against one fellow incumbent, Kim-Marie Graham, and four challengers for the three at-large seats on April 8, 2014. Tritz did not seek re-election when her term ended in 2017.

Tritz has her bachelor's degree from the University of Central Missouri. She is the owner of HR Fuzion, LLC, a human resources consulting firm based in Kansas City. She and her husband, Matt, have three children.[1]
