2017

Four seats on the Liberty Public Schools school board were up for at-large general election on April 4, 2017. Three seats were up for three-year terms, and one seat was up for a special election for a one-year term. Board incumbents Angela Reed and Kim-Marie Graham filed for the three-year terms and were joined on the ballot by newcomers Nick Bartlow and AJ Byrd. Incumbents Reed and Graham and newcomer Byrd won the election. Board incumbent Kent Peterson filed for the one-year term and defeated former candidate Bruce Cantwell.[1]
