Previously, Fraley was a 2014 candidate for the Fayette County Superior Court in Indiana.[1]

Primary: He ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on May 6, 2014.
General: He was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 41.8 percent of the vote. He competed against Paul L. Freed. [1][3]
