The question on the ballot:

Shall the limitation on the amount of taxes which may be imposed on taxable property within the territorial limits of the Township Ambulance Authority (Central Lake Township, Chestonia Township, Custer Township, Forest Home Township, Helena Township, Kearney Township, Mancelona Township, Star Township and Warner Township), County of Antrim, State of Michigan, be increased by up to sixty-five cents ($.65) per thousand dollars ($1,000) (.65 mills) of the taxable value on all taxable property within the territorial limits of the Authority for four (4) years, being 2011 through 2014, inclusive, for the purpose of providing funds for acquiring, construction, improvement, repair, and maintenance of ambulance buildings and facilities, and for equipping, operating, and maintaining an ambulance service within the territorial limits of the Authority, and shall the Township Ambulance Authority Board be authorized to levy such millage for these purposes? If approved and levied in its entirety, it is estimated that the .65 mills would raise an estimated $54,607.00 for the Authority when first levied in 2011.[3]
