Michael Anderson is a judge for the Nantucket Probate and Family Courts in Nantucket, Massachusetts. Governor Charlie Baker (R) appointed Anderson to the court on June 24, 2020, to replace Randy Jill Kaplan.[1]

Anderson is a former member of the Woburn City Council, representing Ward 4 in Massachusetts. He served from 2008 to 2020. He resigned in July 2020 when he was confirmed as a probate and family court judge.[2]

Biography

Anderson received a bachelor's in political science from Trinity College-Hartford and a J.D. from Suffolk University Law School. While in law school, he was a member of the Transnational Law Journal.

Prior to becoming a judge, Anderson was a member of the Woburn City Council and owner of the Law Office of Michael D. Anderson.[3]
