Connecticut: Gov. Jodi Rell has nominated 4 attorneys to the Connecticut Superior Court: Hunchu Kwak, Lisa Kelly Morgan, John M. Newson and Mohammad Nawaz Wahla. Of the nominees, Rell claimed, "These highly qualified nominees represent the finest traditions of Connecticut’s legal profession...I am also confident that they, like the other judges I have had the privilege to nominate, share my commitment to making Connecticut’s courts – at all levels – more open and transparent."

Lisa Morgan (Republican) has been the president of her law firm, Ruben, Morgan & Horan, since 1994. She lives in Wethersfield.
