William G. Clay IV was an associate judge on the Twentieth Judicial Circuit Court in Illinois. He was appointed in August 2015 to a term that expired on June 30, 2019. He replaced Judge Laninya Cason, who was not reappointed when her term expired on June 30, 2015.[1]

Education

Clay received a bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign in 2004 and a J.D. from St. Louis University in 2007.[1]

Career

Prior to becoming a judge, Clay was an assistant state's attorney at the St. Clair County State's Attorney's Office.[1]
