William G. Clay IV was an associate judge on the Twentieth Judicial Circuit Court in Illinois. He was appointed in August 2015. He replaced Judge Laninya Cason, who was not reappointed when her term expired on June 30, 2015.[1]
Education
Clay received a bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign in 2004 and a J.D. from St. Louis University in 2007.[1]
Career
Prior to becoming a judge, Clay was an assistant state's attorney at the St. Clair County State's Attorney's Office.[1]
