A Wyandotte City Services Levy Increase measure was on the November 8, 2011 ballot in the city of Wyandotte which is in Wayne County.
This measure was approved
- YES 2,539

- NO 1,469[1]
This measure sought to increase the current city property tax by a rate of 1.75 mills for a period of three years. The money generated from the increase will go towards general city services. The city had initially thought to propose a 3 mill increase, but decided on the lower amount. Since the amount was lower, city officials noted that even though the increase was approved, some services will need to be cut or scaled back as this levy will not cover the entire expected budget deficit.[2]
