Valerie K. Couch is a former federal magistrate judge for the United States District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma. She was appointed to this position on March 8, 1999, and resigned on April 8, 2012.[1][2]
Education
Judge Couch received a B.A. degree from the University of California and an M.A. degree from the University of Oklahoma. She then earned her J.D. degree in 1983 from the University of Oklahoma College of Law.[1]
Career
Judge Couch began her career in 1983 as a trial attorney for the firm Hartzog, Conger & Cason. She worked in this capacity until her judicial appointment in 1999.[1]
