Primary: He ran unopposed in the Republican primary on August 26, 2014.
General: He was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 16.8 percent of the vote. He competed against Democrats James Colvin and Wesley Mook and Republican Charles N. Kokoras for two open seats. [1][2][3]
