Lesley Powell is a member of the Tuscaloosa City Schools school board in Alabama, representing District 3. She assumed office on May 17, 2021. Her current term ends in 2029.

Powell won re-election to the Tuscaloosa City Schools school board to represent District 3 in Alabama outright after the general election on March 4, 2025, was canceled.
