Lawrence D. McClain is a judge of the Sandoval County Probate Court in New Mexico. He was elected in November 2014, effective January 1, 2015, for a term that expires on December 31, 2018.[1]

Primary: He ran unopposed in the Republican primary on June 3, 2014.
General: He defeated Charles J. Aguilar in the general election on November 4, 2014, receiving 52.0 percent of the vote. [1][2] 

Education

McClain received his undergraduate degree from Moor Park College in 1977.[3]

Career

Prior to his election to the bench, McClain was retired but worked part-time at an auto parts store. He previously worked as the manager of the Coronado Airport.[3]
