The city of Chicago, Illinois, held elections for city council on February 24, 2015. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was November 24, 2014.^[1] In the general election for Ward 38, Nicholas Sposato defeated Jerry Paszek, Tom Caravette, Heather Sattler, Michael C. Duda, Carmen Hernandez and Belinda Cadiz.^[2] John J. Cianci and Mike Keeney were removed from the ballot. Ward 38 incumbent Timothy M. Cullerton did not run for re-election.^[3]
