Vernie McGaha

Vernie McGaha (b. September 13, 1947) is a former Republican member of the Kentucky State Senate, representing District 15 from 1997 to 2013.

McGaha earned his B.S. from Campbellsville College in 1969. He went on to receive his M.A. from Western Kentucky University in 1973.

McGaha was Band Director for Russell County High School from 1969 to 1986. He then worked as Principal for Union Chapel Elementary from 1986 to 1988. He worked as Principal of Russell County Middle School from then until 1996.
