The North Carolina Legislative Salaries Amendment, also known as Amendment 1, was on the ballot in North Carolina on November 7, 1922, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was defeated. The measure increased the daily salary of legislators from four dollars to ten dollars.[1]
